by admin477351

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has clarified that the Turkish government is not involved in the internal conflicts and legal issues facing the main opposition party, urging political figures to prioritize national interests. Following a Cabinet meeting in Ankara, Erdoğan highlighted the ruling alliance’s dedication to serving the public and furthering Türkiye’s long-term goals, asserting that the opposition’s disputes are a matter exclusively for the party to resolve.

Erdoğan emphasized his administration’s commitment to strengthening Türkiye’s future by maintaining stability and addressing issues impacting all citizens. He cautioned against efforts to incite political tension or social unrest, underscoring the need to protect the country’s democratic framework and public order. The president called for unity and collaboration on crucial national matters, particularly those related to enhancing security and promoting long-term stability.

His comments come amid ongoing turmoil within the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), where internal divisions have escalated due to leadership disputes and legal challenges following the party’s 2023 congress. This has led to uncertainty regarding the party’s direction ahead of the next general election.

Despite these political disagreements, Erdoğan reiterated his government’s focus on prioritizing national interests, ensuring social cohesion, and fostering economic development. He urged political leaders to engage constructively with initiatives aimed at addressing the nation’s challenges, advocating for an inclusive approach to governance.
